A cloud workshop for laser cutting

## Cutting in the cloud — from drawing to a quote for your client

Several machines, one library of drawings, settings and leftovers. The estimate runs in the cloud against the profile of the machine you picked — so two different machines give two different prices, not a rounding difference.

- 5 — MB is the ceiling for a drawing uploaded straight from the browser
- 1 — button replays the estimate with the very numbers a person typed
- 2 — machines on one drawing give different prices, not a rounding difference

#### What is here

#### Library

DXF drawings live in the cloud with versions and a content fingerprint: two machines cannot silently overwrite each other — the platform shows the conflict and asks a person. A file can come from the browser or from the Tao Laser plugin inside your CAD editor.

#### Machines

A machine is a model, a controller, a tube, its kerf, its speed and the price of its hour. The machine’s numbers override what was typed by hand, and the estimate says so out loud instead of hiding it.

#### Leftovers

Offcuts are objects on a shelf, not files: they carry size, material and how many are left. An estimate can start from an offcut, and it is written off only after the cut actually succeeded.

#### Quote for the client

The quote is built from the estimate, opens for your client by a link with no account, and prints to PDF — with your workshop name, contacts and an expiry date.

#### What the estimate counts

| Что | Where it comes from |
| --- | --- |
| Material | price per m² from the sheet profile you chose |
| Cutting path | price per metre from the cut profile |
| Machine time | cut length ÷ speed + pierces; the price of the machine hour comes from its profile |
| Layout | the nesting service on the real drawing, with a picture of what went in and what came out |

#### Three steps

| Step | What happens |
| --- | --- |
| 1. Drawing | Upload a DXF from the browser or from the Tao Laser plugin — it lands in the library with a version and a fingerprint. |
| 2. Estimate | Pick the machine and the material. The estimate gives the price, shows the layout, and names everything it overrode. |
| 3. Quote | Send the client a link: they see the total and can print it without creating an account. |

#### Start with one drawing

The account is free. You pay for the work of your own machine — and the estimate counts the time, not a promise.
